Chiyoda's corporate roots go back to 1948 with the founding of the parent company Chiyoda Gravure Corporation, Tokyo, Japan. In 1986 the group began production in Genk/Belgium, with the newly established Chiyoda Europa. Conversion of a design vision into reality calls for the right tools. Chiyoda prints decor papers up to a maximum width of 223 cm on ultra-modern four- and five-colour presses prior to hardening with melamine resin. In addition, we print specially structured foils for the creation of a relief-like matt/gloss look under the brandname 'Trend Line'. Decor foils are manufactured on five- to seven-stage presses and coating lines, all of course designed and built to the very latest high-performance standards. We use a range of different coating systems, for example UV-hardened. The 'Reality Line' surface is made by using a special process, achieving even greater visual impact through optical 3D effects on wood and fantasy decors. Also, Chiyoda produces decor samples up to a width of 80 cm on a four pilot presses. To ensure that the results attain the highest quality standard, we engrave our printing cylinders in-house. The carefully selected decor patterns from our own designers are scanned and enhanced on the screen to give them that 'something extra' from Chiyoda, marking out your product as extra special. Chiyoda has more than 2,000 designs for furniture, the building interior completion industry, panels and floor coverings.
